ITEM: Grapefruitmoongallery has acquired a collection of incredibly unusual World War I European front art, created by Albert Rust, a British soldier stationed in France, who created an epic series of small drawings, cartoons, and sketches that he would use as postcards that he sent letters home on. These are really an incredible time capsule and very unusual slice of World War I soldier life.
You are bidding on a 1916 postcard hand drawn and written by Albert Rust, featuring a soldier on ocean liner returning home with tagline "On the Return Voyage: My Word! Don't the time fly!" Postcard is postally used and addressed to Miss M Rust. 100% guaranteed original and vintage.

CONDITION: This rare postcard is in fine condition with some toning and scattered creasing to card but remarkably well preserved for such an unusual work of art. 100% guaranteed vintage and original.
