THIS 6.0L L76 ENGINE PRODUCES 361 HP @ 5,300 RPM AND 385 FT LB OF TORQUE @ 4,400 RPM!

Here is some information on this L76:

L76 was originally Holden's version of the 5,967 cc (5.967 L; 364.1 cu in) Generation IV engine. While displacement on demand technology was disabled on Holdens, this feature is enabled on the 2008 Pontiac G8 GT fitted with the 6L80 Automatic Transmission. The engine also meets Euro III emissions requirements. Output is 361 bhp (269 kW) and 385 lb·ft (522 N·m) for the G8 GT.

This auction will include the engine, transmission, engine accessories, engine harness, air flow meter, main computer, transmission computer, and pedal!

Before we start each engine, we remove the spark plugs and hand turn the engine to make sure no oil has passed the rings.

We do a compression test to make sure the rings, valves, and head gaskets are sealing properly.

We do a vacuum test to make sure there are no burned or sticking valves, collapsed lifters, or vacuum leaks.

We do a oil pressure test at cold start up and warm operating temperature to ensure proper bearing clearance and that there are no restrictions in the oiling system.

We do a CO test to make sure there are no cracks in the block and heads, and that there are no exhaust gases in the cooling system.

We inspect the automatic transmission by draining and inspecting the transmission fluid. We then remove the filter and check for debris or foreign material. We then refill the transmission with new fluid and run test the transmission through all of the gears to ensure that it shifts properly. If any problems are found, the transmission will be torn down for inspection and repaired as necessary.

Signature confirmation can be added to each item for an additional $2. We will not be responsible for packages released at front porches or at front doors. Please note that if you are not available, some carriers will leave the package around your house without your consent.

If you provide us with an incorrect address for truck freight shipments, you will be liable for any additional charges outside of original quoted rate. Any shipping quotes are valid for one week.
