Here is an old metal wind up mechanical body. I purchased it at an Estate Sale. It has a tag on it that says "STEIFF WALKING BODY (early)". It is only a hand written tag from the previous owner so Im not sure what it is. The Body and legs are metal. The arms are stuffed material. It has a peg sticking out of the body. When you wind the peg with the KEY, the legs move. IT DOES HAVE THE KEY BUT IT IS NOT PICTURED. Each foot has 2 metal wheels. If you are bidding on this, you must know what it is. Hopefully you can use it for your restoration. I dont have any idea how old it is but it is mostly made of metal, including the wheels so its pretty old. Good Luck!
