Beaumont Brothers Pottery BBP Salt Glaze Rabbit Bank
|
|

I have up for auction a Beaumont Brothers Pottery or BBP Rabbit Bank.. It measures 6 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" across at the base. It has a plug in the bottom for removing the coins. This is an older, heavier piece, dated 1996 on the bottom. This is also a salt-glazed piece. No chips or cracks. Some pops in the glaze. A couple of marks on the bottom where these pieces get stacked on one another during firing and the glazing pulls away when seperated. Salt-glazing causes the dark highlighting, which is my favorite part. This is an Ohio made pottery located in Crooksville is still being manufactured today only they no longer do a salt-glaze only clear-glaze and they have added colors to their pottery. Salt glazing is not enviromentally friendly. This comes from my own personal collection. I thought I had sold it all but found another box of my pottery packed away. Feel free to email any questions prior to bidding as I do not accept returns unless item not as described. Several pictures, some with a flash and some without. Thank you for looking. I have all the information provided so that you may use the shipping calculator, unless you have multiple wins, then please wait for me to invoice you. Thank you.
