VINTAGE TINKER TOY (TINKERTOY) - "Super Transit" No. 146
Original Tinkertoy cardboard cannister & metal lid labled No. 146 "Super Transit" 180 parts. There are actually 181 parts in the cannister, which seems to match up with the graphics on the cannister. PLEASE check contents list below. No instructions. Cannister and lid are in good condition, lid fits snugly. The label is still bright and colorful with a little bit of peeling at the seam (largest area is 2" long X 1/2" wide, visible in photo left of the "T", the rest is less than 1/8" wide). There are some small nicks where the lid edge meets the label and a few very tiny nicks here and there.
Round wood disks
4 - 1.5" with etched ring and a center hole
8 - 1.25" with 5 holes on top and 4 on the side
41 - 1.25" with center hole and 8 holes on the side (6 have a larger center hole)
Plastic pieces
11 - orange cylinders (1 3/8") w/ holes on each end and in middle
4 - orange rounds (3/4") with single hole
4 - orange caps (1/4")
2 - misc orange pieces (one looks like a connector, the other is shown as a handle or pulley in some of the graphic)
4 - red tips (1.25") bullet shaped
6 - green plastic Tinkertoy flags, three have minor bend marks
Wood slotted sticks
1 - unfinished (9") no slots
15 - green (7.5") One piece has a missing end
20 - red (5") Two pieces have wear on the finish and something black & slightly sticky (I didn't try to clean off)
19 - blue (3.25") A few pieces show some wear on the finish
19 - yellow (2")
23 - orange (1.25") One piece has a small split on each slotted end, a couple have minor wear on the finish
