Marconiphone radio. Wooden case - a bit scuffed. Three short waves, one medium wave, one long wave. Marked "Marconiphone" and G Marconi signature. We estimate 40s/50s but are no experts. On the back there is a round plaque "Maxwell & Sons.Woking" and a rectangular plaque Post Office License plate. Please contact with any questions and we will try to answer.
There is a bakerlite surround around dial and around front speaker. There are four knobs - three of them have their bakerlite covers - the tuning one doesn't but tunes fine by hand. Volume is good. There is no plug and needs an external aerial - so although we got it working, it is offered for sale as not working to comply with EC regulations. height 13", across 19", deep 9".
