This is a SUPER-RARE Electrohome Model 862 Apollo Record Player / Turntable. It has a built-In radio tuner with EQ, and Volume Controls. It is all tested and in good working order. I will put links to videos I have posted on You Tube showing it playing. I took the video with my Cell Phone, and it sounds a little distorted because I had it playing a a loud volume, and it just sounds that way on my phone. The radio plays crystal clear, and the record player has a slight "static" sound every once in awhile. This can most likely be solved by a new needle since it is just with a record playing. The record player has been cleaned, and all slide controls/switches have been treated with DeoxIT D5 Cleaner/protectant/lubrican, for electronic signal rejuvenation & protection. I use this cleaner on all my vintage electronics, and is used by professionals of vintage electronics everywhere.

I have been collecting vintage record players for years, and have only come across a few of these Electrohome units, and this is the FIRST one I have ever seen with the built in Tuner/EQ!!! Also rare being the table top version without the tall, bulky stand. The plastic cover is in great shape and shows only minimal wear. Got this from an old lady who purchased it new. The auto start & return features work perfectly, and all other controls are in proper working order. The speakers even come with the original stands!!!

This model was available from 1970-1972, and is a true vintage piece, and a sign of the times. It is known as the "space-age bubble" design. It has a true machined aluminum base, with plastic dome lid, and round speakers.
